Dr. Teresa BABUSCIO, Secretary General
|
Teresa is Italian and holds a PhD in Food, Agriculture and Environmental Law. After working as a lecturer on Food Safety at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and the University of "La Tuscia"- Viterbo, she joined the European Commission, DG Health and Consumers, for a blue book traineeship. She joined COCERAL in 2007 as Policy Advisor in charge of food and safety issues and, in 2010, became Secretary General in charge of GMOs Adventitious Presence, the general management and the overall coordination, Coceral internal affairs and relation with Members and budget. Teresa is responsible for Unistock and Euromalt. Before moving to Brussels she has been spending some time in the United States focusing on the American Food Safety system and worked in Egypt advising exporters of fruit and vegetables on phytosanitary issues. Teresa speaks Italian, English and French.

Gloria GABELLINI
|
Gloria Gabellini holds a Master in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy. After working as research assistant on energy crops' agronomy and mechanization, she joined the Council of the European Union - DG Agriculture for a traineeship. Within COCERAL she is responsible for environmental sustainability, mycotoxins and plant protection. Gloria is also in charge of COCERAL's agrosupply section and is Secretary General of Euromaisiers. Gloria has an Italian nationality: she speaks English and French.

Elena BERLONI
|
Elena Berloni holds a Master of Science in Business and Marketing Management from Bocconi University of Milan, Italy. She graduated in Business Administration (CLEA) at the same university. After working as a trainee on the marketing and communication department at Eridania Tate & Lyle S.p.A., she joined COCERAL secretariat firstly for an internship and, subsequently, she was appointed as COCERAL's Junior Policy Advisor contributing to the regulatory issues pertaining to the Food and Feed Safety area, such as Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), contaminants, microbiological criteria, food and feed hygiene.

Julien TAIEB
|
Julien Taïeb has a background in law and holds a Master in Community Law from University of Aix-en-Provence, France. He worked for two years at the General Secretariat of the European Commission as legal analyst and subsequently held, for more than four years, the position of European Affairs Manager within FEFAC, the European Federation representing industrial compound feed manufacturers. He joined COCERAL as Senior Policy Advisor in charge of the implementation and the management of the Good Trading Practice (GTP) Code, a quality assurance scheme developed by COCERAL. He also focuses on the tools developed by COCERAL together with the partners along the chain for the implementation of the food and feed hygiene legislations. Julien has French and Italian nationalities. He speaks English and Spanish.

Nataliia SAVVINA
|
Nataliia Savvina is Ukrainian. She holds Master degrees in Management and Foreign Languages from universities of Kiev, Ukraine. She worked as Office Manager for ten years, worked as Interpreter at Eurovision Song Contest. She joined COCERAL as Secretary/Assistant and is in charge of the day-to-day handling of administration and facilities tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office. Nataliia speaks Ukrainian, Russian, French, English and Spanish.

Patricia THONUS
|
Patricia Thonus is Belgian. She has been working for the past 32 years in the financial sector, mainly for international associations. She started working at Coceral in June 2011 and is in charge of the finances and the office management. Patricia speaks French, English and Dutch.

David CRUNELLE
|
David Crunelle is Belgian. He holds a degree in Business management. David joined COCERAL on March 2010 as a freelance consultant and is in charge of IT Support, Corporate Identity & Graphic Design and GTP administrator certificates and maintenance. In addition to his part-time job at COCERAL, he works as an analyst programmer and as a Trainer in visual communication in Higher Education.
