an industry close to the market increases the chances that the industry
will be able to produce what European consumers want (GMO free, high
health standards...).

Wet milling is used to obtain oil, gluten, starch and starch
hydrolysates. Contrary to the dry-milling process, the wet-milling
process uses large amounts of water with the intention to achieve a
full separation of the grain's starch from its protein for the
