Coceral structure
General Assembly
Delegates represented in the General Assembly are nominated by the national organisations. Each national delegation, with the exception of associate members, has one vote. The General Assembly has the necessary powers to approve the accounts, set the Budget, and appoint members to the Board.

Sections
The traditional activity of the Markets and Common Agricultural Policy section consists in the analysis of the EU grain markets and the preparation of the cereals, and oilseeds crop forecasts. The section also analyses the world market for cereals and examines EU import and export policy and legislation and follows the multilateral and bilateral trade negotiations.

The Board
The Board consists of two representatives per member country, proposed by the national delegations and elected by the General Assembly. The Board elects from amongst its members the President and the Vice-President of COCERAL for a two year term of office. The Vice-President automatically succeeds the President when the latter's term of office expires.

Presidium
The Presidium comprises the President, the Vice-President and the Chairmen of the Sections. The Presidium prepares the work of the Board and defines the general guidelines to be followed by COCERAL.

Secretariat
The office is led by the Secretary General Dr. Teresa Babuscio, who is assisted in her work by Ms Oana Surdu, Ms. Gloria Gabellini, Ms. Elena Berloni, Ms. Nadine Massamba & Ms. Sofia Ciravegna . The Secretariat in Brussels prepares, coordinates and reports on the work of the Sections and informs its members on all relevant European policy and legal issues.
