EUROMALT STATISTICS
There are two kinds of barley: feed barley and malting barley. Barley suitable for producing malt must be of high quality and be able to germinate evenly and rapidly.

The malting plants are generally located near to the raw material source or near to ports to facilitate export of malt and import of barley.
